Tando Creative Colour Week

Hello, 4th September already! the kids must all be heading back to school this week, scary to think they've had 6 weeks off!! its a long time since I have had to worry about getting school uniform and essentials ready to go back to school with, but, I can remember the hours spent labelling things!! not that that made a lot of difference!!

This week over on the Tando Creative blog its the colour theme…so for September its this colour palette.

such vibrant colours for this time of year!

So, here is ATC 9/2017

The base is the Tando ATC chipboard base which was painted using acrylic paint… stencils:- minis clock mask and numbers and the 6x6 stencil sequin waste extra texture was added by adding paint using an old store credit card.  A house from the whimsical house set was painted and then stamped using a crackle stamp this was then added to my atc base along with some text.

All items used are available from the Tando Creative retail shop.

Pop on over to the Tando blog this week and see what some of the other DT members have created.

So, here is the colour scheme for August:-

The greyboard base had texture paste added using the Tando mini distressed diamonds stencil, some old dictionary paper was also adhered.  Paperartsy paints in sherbet, lavender and bourganvillia were then added, along with some doodling and stencilling using the mini numbers stencil.  Parts from the Whimsical birds set 2 were painted using the same colour ways and then doodled…

Something a little different

Hi, those that know me know that I don't scrapbook, but, there are times that you just have too…and the final selfie for Steve, Josh and I just before Josh went thro' to the departures lounge at Heathrow last Wednesday, on his way to Australia before starting work in japan is one of those occasions…

The thing is that I don't have any photo paper to print out my snap so that will follow….

Created for my Papermaze blog post up today.

Media boards

Hello, today its my turn over on the Tando Creative blog and this week the theme is Media Boards.

I really enjoy working on this media and most of my Tando DT work will use one of the chipboard bases, in either size.

I made two boards for this week's post, both different in style….

Number 1

Onto the bare board I applied grungepaste using the long flourish stencil.  Red, orange and yellow acrylics were then added, a versa mark ink pad was rubbed along the raised areas and pushed down in some places before adding some embossing enamels.  A whimsical bird was painted and doodled and added to the board.

Number 2

This time the mini criss cross stencil was used with the grunge paste and acrylic paints added.  A whimsical house was painted in the same colours and adhered to the board upon a bed of washi tape!!

Do pop on over to the Tando Creative blog this week to see what the other dt members have done with their boards.
