Last week of our Birthday Month

wow hasn't that gone quickly?

This week Ang has chosen the theme for our last Twinchie (2"x2") and she has chosen:-

Crowns

so, here is my crown twinchie:-

The base is another fabulous Tando Creative Twinchie, which has been distressed using two different inks and then spritzed with crafty notions white spray, then stamped over with a T!m stamp and then a new paperartsy mini stamp - the bird is made out of metal and is another new Paperartsy stamp, the body and crown was puffed out and filled and then when set painted with inka gold. The edges were doodled before Inka gold was used. A few gems finished off the piece.

We have another FAB sponsor this week, the lovely Caroline from Bubblyfunk has donated a fabulous range of goodies for this weeks lucky winner

- Bubblyfunk are also a named stockist for the Tando Creative range, Caroline also stocks a varied range of crafting goodies at a really good price, and delivery is always so prompt - so do pop along to her shop and treat yourself.

this weeks GD is Karen, Karen is new to blogging but is a long term crafter to do pop on over to her blog and see what she has created.

Pop on over to SCD this week and see what the others have created and if you fancy a chance of winning this weeks blog candy and the months stash all you have to do is create a 2"x2" piece of art solely for SCD and your name will go into the pot!

TFL xx

I really really like this one, this is a fabby twinchie.

To answer a question, not knowing what to do with them once complete. Well you saw the one on the wooden box, but I think they look great in a shadow box too and also on a card just treat it like a classy home made topper! so next time you make one think about what you could use it for before you make it!

Love Dawn xx

hello my lovely deary :)
Just breezing through for a catch up :) Lovely work as always, but this one really caught my eye - I'm sucker for anything with a cute birdie on!!! Trying to understand the technique though - puffing out the metal?! I wish I was as clever and up to date with techniques as you!!! :D Hope you are all well and good :) xxxxx
